Online Archive & Museum Shop
"Finding Enid with Love" is an online museum collection of works by American mid-century fashion designer and folk artist Enid Collins, most renowned for creation of bejeweled box bags. The museum is part of a larger anthropological project that seeks to research, document and create lively discussion about Collins and her work. The website serves multiple functions: an online archive of the physical collection (more than 1,000 box bags and other works), documentation and public face of the contemporary archeological project, collaborative enthnography via online community (sharing), donation and support outreach, and a commercial museum shop to generate following and raise funds.
